Each of the three bedrooms with a comfortable king-size 4-poster bed, an en-suite, and overhead fan has amazing views to the water. A fourth bedroom, also with an en-suite, can sleep 3 extra guests. (best suited to teenagers)
The spotless stainless steel kitchen is very well equipped and the walk-in pantry has a drinks fridge, deep freeze and microwave.
A designated fire pit on the beach is a great place to chill and watch the sunsets and the occasional cruise ship leaving the harbour. Two beachside restaurants are within walking distance from the house.
A’ swimming pool’ has been dug into the reef for when the tide is out and great snorkeling is an easy swim out to the edge of the reef when the tide is higher.

Karibu is a truly luxurious property set on a very large site with a wonderful waterfront right outside the back verandah where you can swim, snorkel, watch the boats go by and see the sun set. We had a week at Karibu and absolutely loved it, the bedrooms are huge, as is the lounge, and all with beautiful furniture. Karibu is close to some great waterfront restaurants and reasonably close to Port Vila. Walking from the back door straight onto the beach to cool off was a real treat. One night we sat around a bonfire on the beach after watching the sun set, very idyllic. We’ll definitely be back again and highly recommend Karibu to anyone looking for a luxury stay.
Climber - May 2019
Karibu is an amazing majestic and private property. We had 3 generations of family there and everyone had a ball snorkeling, paddling, swimming and walking around the area. A highlights were: - the coral reef right off the beach -BBQing and eating on the massive back veranda overlooking the beach at sunset - G&Ts at sunset - huge bedrooms and living areas We would recommend it to anyone

Bruce & Family - December 2018
Such a beautiful holiday in an amazing place. We celebrated three birthdays during our nine days here, including our daughter’s 21st. Everything about the house is perfect, with the African touches reminding us of home. The reef is amazing; we didn’t really move for the whole nine days other than a couple of grocery runs and a trip to the Blue Lagoon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
The Stone and Murphy families - December 2017
Thank you to you and your family for allowing our family to experience this special place. It feels like it was built with love and feels like it is often filled with love. I hope we have done it justice!
Roach family - July 2017
What a beautiful place to experience the wonders of Vanuatu. Thank you for the opportunity to leave our world behind and immerse ourselves here. Our only complaint is that we could not stay longer!!
Adams family - June 2017
What a lovely home to spend time with family and friends. The reef is so beautiful. Thanks for the use of all the boards - we had a ball everyday on the water. We are in most nights as the kitchen is lovely to cook family meals. We hired a car and drove around the Island … left hand drive and lots of busses pulling out and stopping! The Blue Lagoon was fun. Lots of markets and beaches. The fishing was amazing and caught some fish and brought fillets home to cook. Yum! We could have stayed longer. We do hope to come back sometime, but if we don’t we will have wonderful memories of this stunning place.
