4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, Sleeps 9

Karibu House is situated at Angelfish Cove just 12-15 minutes from Port Vila.

With 3 acres of lush landscaped gardens and 100 metres of private beach you will soon discover your own piece of paradise whilst holidaying in this magnificent home.

This type of holiday home is unique to the Pacific. Karibu (meaning welcome in Swahili) has been inspired by Kenyan coastal architecture and everything is oversized.  The living room is massive with beautifully carved wooden doors and wooden shutters.  A wide full-length verandah accommodates the large and inviting day bed, dining table and outdoor lounge setting from which to enjoy the ambience.  There is a well- equipped stainless-steel kitchen with walk-in pantry.

There are 2 king sized bedrooms in the Main House and a 3rd in the Boathouse. Each of these bedrooms comes with a 4-poster bed, ceiling fan, ensuite and wonderful water views. A 4th bedroom on the lower level of the Boathouse also has an ensuite and can sleep 3 extra guests (best suited to children/teenagers).

Well positioned to take in the ocean views and approximately only 20 metres to the sand and water, Karibu is your destination to quickly relax and unwind for an unforgettable Holiday.

A designated fire pit on the beach is a great place to chill and watch the sunsets and the occasional cruise ship leaving the harbour. Two beachside restaurants are within walking distance from the house.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own mask and snorkel to view the coral reef which can be easily accessed at high tide.  A large swimming hole 20 metres from the shore-line is suitable for low tide swimming.

Included in the tariff is a full time (Dudley) 3 days a week and housekeeper (Yvanna) 1 day pie week (or longer by arrangement).

Karibu is a truly luxurious property set on a very large site with a wonderful waterfront right outside the back verandah where you can swim, snorkel, watch the boats go by and see the sun set.

We had a week at Karibu and absolutely loved it, the bedrooms are huge, as is the lounge, and all with beautiful furniture.

Karibu is close to some great waterfront restaurants and reasonably close to Port Vila. Walking from the back door straight onto the beach to cool off was a real treat.

One night we sat around a bonfire on the beach after watching the sun set, very idyllic. We’ll definitely be back again and highly recommend Karibu to anyone looking for a luxury stay.
