Designed by prominent New Zealand architect Peter Sargisson the Villa is built of enduring materials, from the beautiful shingle roof, natural stone travertine, concrete pillars and the hardwood louvred doors that allow the gentle breeze to filter through the Villa, you are connected to nature both inside and outside. Expansive decks extend the Villa to overlook the foreshore of the bay.
The Villa is well equipped with all amenities that enhance your experience, from showering under the stars to swimming at your own beach in the crystal clear waters of Mele Bay.
The Villa is furnished with specially selected pieces to enhance its connection to its setting and durability, from the Japanese designer Yuzuru Yamakawa Feelgood dining chairs designed in the 1960’s, the Saint Clements lounge furniture, Hans Wegner style Japanese mid century rope chairs, French Society Linen on the beds and selected pottery for crockery.
The natural rhythms of tide and light dictate the flow of the day.
